Haaland’s big money contract that isn’t with Manchester City: He’ll make 250m dollars!

Has penned a lucrative contract with Nike

Erling Haaland has penned a 10-year contract with Nike that will see him earn more than 22.7 million euros per season – around 25m dollars per season.

This may end up being the biggest sponsorship deal in football history, with the striker one of the biggest names in the sport.

The Norwegian striker departed Borussia Dortmund last summer to join Manchester City and he has already taken the Premier League by storm, as he has recorded 28 goals in 26 league games thus far.

“His record-breaking scoring has put a stamp on the future of the game, and makes him the heir to No. 9 – the next-generation striker,” Nike’s statement read.

Haaland’s reconciliation with Nike, with Ronaldo Nazario in the background

The English press have reported that Haaland decided to choose Nike again in order to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Ronaldo Nazario.

As such, Nike can add Haaland’s name to their list of sponsorship deals with football stars, as they also have Kylian Mbappe, Marcus Rashford, Harry Kane, Kevin De Bruyne, Cristiano Ronaldo, Alexia Putellas, Ada Hegerberg, Leah Williamson, Megan Rapinoe and Sam Kerr.

The famous sportswear company had sponsored Haaland since he was just 14 years old, but his previous contract with Nike ended back in January 2022

From that point on, Haaland was spotted wearing Puma (Ultras), Adidas (X Speedportals) and Nike (Mercurial Vapors) boots.
