HORROR DEEPENS: POLICE STUMBLE UPON A SECOND ‘HOUSE OF HORRORS’ LINKED TO OHIO FAMILY—DISTU-RBING DISCOVERY SPARKS FRESH OUTRAGE

A disturbing development in the Ohio “feral” kids case has emerged after a second house of horrors was uncovered. Last month, officials were left “appalled” by the shocking state of a home in Hamden, Ohio, where 16 children were allegedly confined to a room measuring just 3.5 square meters for nearly four years.

Surrounded by human waste, the children, from 18 months to 18 years old, were described as resembling “feral animals” in scenes that Ohio Attorney-General Andy Wilson called “terrible” and “pure evil”. Four members of the Siders family – two grandparents and two parents, Gary Siders Sr, Christine Siders, Elizabeth Siders and Gary Siders Jr – were arrested on June 30 and charged with more than a dozen counts of child endangerment. It comes afer residents living near the Ohio house reported that the odor of human waste and animal feces filled the home.

It has now been claimed that the family’s previous residence was kept in comparable conditions. A home in Gallia County, approximately 10 miles south of Hamden, was reportedly discovered covered in “urine, human and pet feces”.

Bruce Gullick, who was observed renovating the recently-purchased property after the Siders departed, told WSYX: “A lot of kids’ clothes in the attic stuffed away like someone was living up there.”

“The whole entire house was just urine, human and pet feces, so it was pretty tough.”

Former neighbor Melissa Edmonds said she didn’t realize the Siders had moved out “for quite a while”. She described the property as “kind of just an empty house” and said it was not in “great” condition.

Melissa claimed that she didn’t see the children, although her nephew was said to have played with some of them one summer. Her sister-in-law told her that the children had talked to them, but they “didn’t know them either”.

“They didn’t hang out with him or anything. Possibly in 2021 or summer 2022, somewhere in that area.”

This mirrors previous accounts from the Siders’ neighbors in Hamden, who said they had no idea there were children living in the residence. One local told WOWK 13 News there had “never been a sign” of them.

Andy previously said the kids lived in “conditions you cannot even imagine people being in, let alone children being in.” He also said some of the children were unable to speak, while an 18-year-old reportedly could not write their own name.

Vinton County Sheriff Ryan Cain said: “Most of our livestock was kept in better conditions than the children.” Meanwhile, prosecuting attorney William Archer said the guardians were responsible for “serious physical harm”.

Seven children were transported to hospital following the disturbing discovery, two by helicopter, with one said to be critical at the time. The Siders reportedly “bounced around” prior to moving to Hamden, while Andy alleged that the suspects were “pretty good at hiding” the children.

Meanwhile, Archer stated his office would “do everything” in its power to ensure the children received the love and care they “deserve”.
