CASE UPDATE: A NEW LEGAL MOVE BY THE GRANDMOTHER IN THE OHIO “HOUSE OF HORR0RS” CASE IS NOW DRAWING ATTENTION… AND IT COULD CHANGE WHAT THE PUBLIC IS ALLOWED TO KNOW
Christina Siders’ attorney has filed a motion requesting a gag order, which would prevent further information about her connection to the case from coming out.

The grandmother of the 16 children who were saved from America’s most disgusting home in Ohio has filed a motion requesting a gag order after she was arrested – the same request as the one granted to her son.
Christina Siders is currently in custody awaiting trial on child endangerment charges, after officers rescued 16 kids from her home on June 30 in horrific and shocking conditions.
The children ranged in age from one to 18 from the home in Hamden, Ohio, and were allegedly living in squalid, unsanitary conditions. The kids were discovered by the police during an unrelated search warrant on the property.
According to investigators, some of the children didn’t appear to be able to speak, while the oldest couldn’t write her own name. Attorney General Andy Wilson described it as “terrible,” adding, “I mean, it looked like almost feral animals. It was terrible.”
The 67-year-old grandmother, Christina, has been charged with 16 counts of child endangerment. Her husband, Gary Siders Sr., 73, her son, Gary Siders Jr., 36, and her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Siders, 33, were also slapped with the same charges.
Since being arrested, Christina’s attorney has filed a motion requesting a gag order. It would prevent any further information about her connection to the case from being released if it were granted, according to WOWK.
The gag order would prevent attorneys or witnesses from discussing the horrendous case with the public. Gary Siders Jr. had already been granted a gag order by Judge Laina Fetherolf Rogers, WOWK reported.

When granting that gag order, Fetherolf Rogers added that statements made by prosecutors and attorneys could “create a reasonable likelihood of prejudicial pretrial publicity which may impact the ability to impanel an impartial jury.”
Meanwhile, Elizabeth’s attorney, Thomas Stolly, criticized those who had already spoken too much about the case.
“We’re still at the early stages of this criminal case. And so that’s one of the reasons that it’s important to push back against language like that,” he said, speaking to WBNS, “And it’s important to remember that Elizabeth and the rest of the Siders family are innocent until proven guilty.”

Attorney General Wilson alleged the children found in the Ohio house were restricted to an area of around 12 feet by 12 feet for most of the last four years.
“What we saw down here today is pure evil. Most of our livestock was kept in better conditions than the children. It was just a disgusting scene,” he added.
The four adults charged in the case have pleaded not guilty and waived their preliminary hearings.
According to Vinton County Prosecutor William Archer, Siders’ care bill would be paid by the county because he is in custody.
He said, “Based on the information that we were provided, his medical care could potentially bankrupt Vinton County. We were not going to put that burden also on our local taxpayers.”
