Ronaldos sister caused a small social media uproar while in Brazil
Footballers live under the microscope every day as the media are lurking to keep tabs on them. Their every move is watched, when they go out the paparazzi are there, social media has made it even more controversial. Your location always feels like it’s available, and every post on any social media platform becomes scrutinized. But it is not just the athletes themselves that face this, it’s also the family members.
Family members of superstar athletes face similar issues as the athletes themselves. They gain a following on social media as fans start following them as the social media presence grows. Every post gets watched, and then you have on twitter that some of the posts get posted via aggregators when it is a nothing posts. There are some athletes that are so big that their family members even become more popular than other athletes.
A couple of those athletes are Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr. Ronaldo is the most famous athlete on the planet and because of that, the fame of his siblings has also risen as they have ventured into business and have become entrepreneurs. Ronaldo has two sisters, and both have grown in fame alongside their brother. Neymar is also another global superstar, and his sister has become famous on social media with over six million followers on Instagram. Both sets of sisters have become global.
Neymar has of course come under question every year when he was at PSG, and he seemed to miss games around the February period to go back to Brazil to attend his sisters birthday. They have a good relationship, as does Ronaldo with his sisters Katia and Elma who are both older than him.
What did Katia do that caused her shock
Katia lives in Brazil and visits Guaruja, where she has family there through her husband’s side and Katia mentioned getting a lot of social media attention because of her presence on the island of the coast of Sao Paulo. She was on the beach and approached a worker and complimented her on her artwork, which drew a lot of attention to her.
