When Messi received his 44th career honor

In the 2023 CONCACAF Leagues Cup final, Inter Miami defeated Nashville 10-9 in a thrilling shootout following a 1-1 tie after ninety minutes of play.

The first trophy in history was won by David Beckham’s side, and Messi also possesses the 44th prize.

Surpassing his former teammate Dani Alves (43), the 36-year-old attacker now holds the record for the most titles. He won 35 of those with Barcelona, three with PSG, and five with Argentina.
