Transfer rumors heating up as PSG eyes Man Utd striker to fill Mbappe’s shoes. Will this move make or break their squad

In the most recent developments, PSG is said to continue to show interest in Man Utd’s Marcus Rashford to replace Kylian Mbappe.

Some sources in Europe said that Kylian Mbappe has decided to join Real Madrid at the end of the season after his contract with PSG expires. To achieve his desire to join the La Liga giants, the French striker is said to be willing to reduce his salary of 62 million pounds per year.

After successfully holding on to Mbappe twice, it seems that PSG has accepted the prospect of the French striker leaving in the summer of 2024, so they are planning to find a replacement and one of the names being targeted is Man Utd striker Marcus Rashford.

Rashford has been in PSG’s sights for a long time. Before signing a new contract with Man Utd last year, he was said to have negotiated with the French team. If the two sides resume transfer negotiations next summer, the prospect of Rashford leaving Old Trafford is entirely possible. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, PSG is expected to be decisive with this deal. If they realize that the English striker has no intention of leaving, they will withdraw immediately.

Recently, Rashford had problems off the field when he drank after hours, which led to him getting sick and taking time off from training. Because of this, he was fined £650,000 by Man Utd and coach Ten Hag was removed from the roster for some matches. The English striker realized his mistake and returned to play, he was named in the starting lineup in the 4-3 win against Wolves.

Going back to PSG’s transfer information, in case they cannot recruit Rashford, they still have other backup plans. Prominent is the name Victor Osimhen, Napoli striker who is one of the HOT names in the transfer market and he is also in the sights of two English teams, Arsenal and Chelsea.
