Tough times ahead for Man Utd as they face bad news before the FA Cup and Manchester derby. Can they overcome adversity and triumph

Coach Erik Ten Hag revealed Man United’s injury problem in the latest interview before the match against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup and beyond the upcoming Manchester derby.

Manager Erik ten Hag has revealed that he is facing more injury concerns ahead of the match with Nottingham Forest, but is confident he has enough squad to cope with any further absences.

In an exclusive interview with MUTV at Carrington, the Dutch coach updated his plans, confirming that Casemiro has recovered and is ready, despite the head collision in the match against Fulham.

Notably, Harry Maguire, Rasmus Hojlund and Luke Shaw are the latest players to sit out.

The case of Raphael Varane is uncertain. However, for now, the club can still let Jonny Evans, Willy Kambwala and Victor Lindelof, who play at left-back, choose to play centre-back.

Bruno Fernandes is also questioned about his fitness. The captain was injured in the last minute of the match against Fulham and is expected to have to sit out this match, if he does not want the situation to get even worse right before the great battle with Man City.

“We have some problems,” Ten Hag said. Maguire will not be available, Bruno is doubtful, as is Varane. Our goal is of course to win. This is an FA Cup match, so it’s a matter of winning or losing. Black or white. We have to win and that has to be the team’s approach.”
