Kylian Mbappe, the young football sensation, has been warmly welcomed by his Paris Saint-Germain teammates following his controversial loan switch from Monaco. However, that hasn’t stopped his teammates from teasing him about his resemblance to Donatello from the famous TV show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The lighthearted banter began when Mbappe was compared to the character during his initiation song, and it has continued ever since. A recent video has surfaced online showing Mbappe receiving what appears to be an expensive gift from luxury brand Dior. As he opens the box, he pulls out a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle mask, much to the amusement of his teammates.
Mbappe takes the prank in good humor, and the camera pans to Thiago Silva, who can’t contain his laughter as he hides behind a door. It’s evident that Mbappe is a popular figure in the dressing room, and it’s no surprise considering his impressive start to the season.
In his first eight starts in Ligue 1, Mbappe has contributed to eight goals, scoring four himself and providing four assists. He has also found the net twice in the Champions League and will be looking to add to his tally against Celtic. With PSG already qualified for the round of 16, they may opt to rest some key players for their upcoming match at Celtic Park.
