The former Barcelona striker’s smooth dance moves on live TV got fans excited for the Rio Olympics

NEYMAR showed he doesn’t only use his feet for kicking when he danced on live Brazilian TV ahead of the country hosting the upcoming Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Wearing black trainers, baggy shorts and a fedora hat, he Barcelona star boogied alongside model and ballerina Larissa Parison on Globo TV’s show “Ding Dong” much to the amusement of the wolf-whistling and clapping audience.

Footage captures the moment he silkily moves with his brunette partner across the TV set, which became a dance floor when they were joined by others dressed in green and white.

The rest of the guests on the show as well as the spectators all applauded the 24-year-old’s display and cheered throughout his dance routine.

His twinkle-toed performance comes as he appeared in a trailer yesterday for Vin Diesel’s new “XXX” film, playing himself in a cameo.

While Brazil is warming up for the Olympics, which start in just over two weeks, the country’s football icon has visibly been enjoying his time off.

He is expected to lead the host nation’s football team in the biggest sporting event in the world after Brazil recently suffered an embarrassing defeat in the Copa America group stage.

The pressure is mounting over the star heightened by Brazilian national coach Tite, 55, recently warning fans of “over-pressuring” him and being “inhuman” by expecting him to shoulder the responsibility of delivering a piece of silverware to the football-mad country.

Nevertheless, Brazil’s Olympic coach Rogerio Micale has admitted he will be dependent on the star.

He said: “My impression was better than I expected. He’s super motivated. He knows the importance of winning. He wants to help, and has shown what a great player he is.

“We will do what we can to make Neymar feel good. He represents what is the best of Brazilian football. “I want to be dependant on Neymar. What coach would not want him on their team? “I always want him with me. We have to create a team, but the importance of the individual factor is also crucial.”
