Ronaldo Breaks Silence on Loss of Newborn Son: The Toughest Moment I’ve Ever Faced

In an interview with Pieɾs Moɾgan, the 37-year-old athlete admitted that this was the most difficult time of his life. “It was probably the scariest time I’ve ever been through in my life. It was very difficult for Geoɾgina and me because we didn’t understand why this had to happen to us…

Cɾistiano expressed how difficult it is to mourn the loss of a son and at the same time rejoice in the birth and life of a newborn daughter.

“Sometimes I try to explain to my friends and family that it is necessary to be happy and sad at the same time. You have to explain it. You don’t know whether to laugh. You don’t know how to react and what to do,” she added.

Ronaldo revealed that the late baby’s name was Angel and talked about the moments when they finally had to tell the other children what had happened to their little brother. “When Gio got home, the kids started asking, ‘Where’s the other baby, where’s the other baby?’” Ronaldo admitted over teas.

“The kids understood, we had some conversations and they said, ‘Dad, I made this for Angel,’ and they pointed to the sky. And despite how heavy it is, yes, I like it because it’s part of our life. I am not going to lie to my children, I always try to tell them the truth, which is a difficult process, but it will teach them to be human, ”he added.
