Real Madrid is excited after they heard Luis Enrique’s words about Kylian Mbappé

Real Madrid seems closer than ever to sign Kylian Mbappé and PSG coach gives another hint.

The drama between Kylian Mbappé and PSG manager Luis Enrique seems to continue as PSG drew 2-2 to Reims in Ligue 1 at the Parc des Princes. Luis Enrique has substituted out Mbappé early in the last two Ligue 1 matches before the Reims game. For the game today, Enrique did not start the French star, and only 20 minutes since he came on in the 73rd minute to replace Goncalo Ramos. After the game, Enrique was once again asked why he was not playing Mbappé as much anymore, and the Spanish manager spoke about Mbappé’s future.

PSG were trailing early in the first half against Reims. They conceded in the 7th minute courtesy of a goal by Marshall Munetsi. PSG equalized in the 17th minute due to Yunis Abdelhamid’s own goal. PSG turned it out only two minutes later when Goncalo Ramos scored the second goal. Ramos scored his 6th Ligue 1 goal this season for PSG. Mbappé replaced him late in the second half and took two shots on target from long range.

Enrique was asked about the few minutes Mbappé had recently spent in the French league while he played the entire game against Real Sociedad in the Champions League during the week. Enrique told Prime Video, “I wish all the best to Kylian Mbappé for his future. He’s a fantastic player and even more as a person. I really wish him all the best.” He mentioned before that the team would need to adapt without him, hinting that the French star won’t be there for long. Enrique said, “Apparently his immediate future will NOT be here, so we will have to try with other options.” Real Madrid fans can continue to dream as Mbappé’s exit from PSG could soon be confirmed.

What is next for PSG?

PSG are still league leaders of Ligue 1 with 56 points and are 10 points clear of second place Brest. PSG will play OGC Nice next in the Coupe de France at the Parc des Princes. Their next Ligue 1 game is against Montpellier and then Marseille at the end of the month.
