The Kylian Mbappe transfer saga just never slows down. The Frenchman had looked destined for a free transfer to Real Madrid last summer before he unexpectedly ended up signing a contract extension with PSG. Of course, that left a bitter taste in the mouths of Los Blancos supporters, many of whom did not want to see the club being linked with the World Cup winner ever again.
And yet, as the months have passed, the Mbappe to Real Madrid rumours have cropped up again. His new deal with PSG was not a long one. It was for two years with the option for a third.
There have been suggestions that it is unlikely that Mbappe will opt for the option to extend his deal by another season. If that was indeed the case, then this summer, he would only have a year left on his deal with PSG. Yet, it does not look like the French giants have any intentions of letting him go.
As reported by SPORT, PSG has made Mbappe absolutely non-transferable. So the Frenchman will fulfil his contract, at least, until 2024.

Thus, it looks like Mbappe is not going to be leaving PSG in the summer. On the other hand, rumours had already suggested that Real Madrid were not planning on making an astronomical offer for the Frenchman and were more interested in convincing him to join as a free agent in the summer of 2024.
It remains to be seen what the future holds. If Mbappe was to leave PSG, other clubs are expected to be in the race to sign him as well.
Someone like Mbappe would be an incredible signing for Real Madrid and can be the face of the club for years to come. And it is no secret that he is a fan as well. Thus, hopefully things will fall into place in the future.
