The Al Hilal footballer surpassed Pelé after scoring his 78th and 79th goals in a qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup against Bolivia. After this historic event, the great luxury that Neymar gave himself is revealed and that surprises all of Brazil.
Neymar, humbled by his victory, declared: “I am very happy. I never imagined that I would beat that record. But I don’t want to say that I am better than Pelé just because I surpassed him in this record.” The “NJR78 Future” is characterized by its white and gold design, with ten drawings that represent the most notable moments of the career of Brazil’s top scorer, such as the stop where he used to take the bus to train, his first youth trophy and his first goal with the national team.
The people selected to receive these special boots are part of Neymar’s closest circle, including friends, family, coaches and teammates with whom he maintains a close friendship. Puma has indicated on its website that Neymar hand-picked this special group, which includes family, friends, coaches, current and former teammates, as well as Brazilian soccer legends, all of whom will receive a pair of boots corresponding to the number of goals they have scored for their national team.
