Neymar Requests Eight Vehicles from Al-Hilal for His Time in Saudi Arabia

The signing of Neymar by Al-Hilal is the latest addition to the Saudi Pro League (which you can watch live on MARCA.com). The move of the Brazilian star from PSG to the Riyadh squad was made possible by millions of dollars from Saudi Arabia.

When a superstar of the sport like Neymar moves from one club to another, it’s not simply bucks (or euros) (the Brazilian’s transfer will bring him between 200 and 350 million euros over two years, trailing only Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema). Other requirements have to be completed in order to gain his signature.

And, as you might expect, they are not inexpensive. In fact, the British daily The Sun has published a lengthy list of requests, which includes, in addition to automobiles, a house with 25 bedrooms, three saunas, a swimming pool of at least 40×10 meters, a private plane…v

Eight cars

However, when it comes to vehicles, Neymar’s first desire is for a chauffeur and a vehicle that is available 24 hours a day. According to The Sun, in this case, it is a Mercedes vehicle that should be ready for him or his family and friends.

The heavier artillery then begins. The former Santos, Barcelona, and PSG player wants a Mercedes G-Class Wagon in his garage, a luxury SUV popular among footballers and well-suited to the country’s poor roads… and even more so for excursions through the deserts that populate the country where the Dakar Rally is held.

Another SUV on the forward’s wish list is the Aston Martin DBX, a car that Fernando Alonso knows well and that matches the G-Class wonderfully, as the British model is less ‘country’ and more ‘racing’.

And for a sports car, the Lamborghini Huracan, which the Al-Hilal player also wants for his new football ‘homeland’. Finally, the Bentley Continental GT will give Neymar’s garage a dash of elegance and grandeur.

These eight vehicles would add around 1.5 million euros to the total transfer amount (which also includes more than 100 million euros for his home club PSG).
