Mbappe’s salary at PSG: Comparison with Neymar and Ronaldo after they moved to Saudi Arabia

Neymar becomes the next star to join the wave of player migration from Europe to Saudi Arabia. The Brazilian star is said to have reached an agreement to join Saudi Pro League’s Al Hilal.

After failing in an attempt to woo Kylian Mbappe, Al Hilal turned his sights on Neymar, who is also no longer happy at PSG. The 31-year-old star also expressed disappointment with the transfer policy and development plan of the rich French man. He wanted to leave and contacted Barcelona. However, the Camp Nou team is having financial difficulties and cannot recruit Neymar.

Al Hilal stepped in and expressed his desire to recruit Neymar. The Brazilian star is one of the most famous footballers in the world and his inclusion in the Saudi Pro League has done a very good job of promoting the tournament’s image.

Neymar salary at Al Hilal

Neymar receives a salary of around  £31.6 million at PSG in the 2022/23 season. This is one of the biggest signings in Europe last season. But his new contract with Al-Hilal could surpass that number.

According to CBS Sports, the Saudi side has offered Neymar a two-year contract with an annual salary of  £172 million.

Compare Neymar’s salary with Mbappe and Ronaldo

If the numbers above are correct, Neymar would match  Cristiano Ronaldo’s £173m annual salary with Al Nassr,  and make him the highest-paid footballer in the world.

The new contract with Al Hilal also helps Neymar to surpass Mbappe, who receives a salary of about  £96 million/season at Parc des Princes.

However, PSG is trying to keep Mbappe at the club, and it is almost certain that the defending League 1 champion will continue to raise the salary for the “Golden Boy” of France.

PSG believe that the best way to keep Mbappe is to make an offer that cannot be refused. According to Forbes, the French club is ready to offer Mbappe a “lifetime contract” worth $1.1 billion.

PSG are also said to be considering a lower offer, which would include a clause to leave the club at the end of the 2023/24 season – if Mbappe remains determined to join Los Blancos.
