La Liga president Javier Tebas assured that “Mbappe has a 99.9% chance of playing at the Santiago Bernabeu next year”. No Premier League club is going to go for him and the only club left in the world is Real Madrid. So he will be there,” he said.

La Liga president Javier Tebas gave his opinion on Thursday in Seville at a conference organised by the CEU San Pablo University on the possible signing of Kylian Mbappe by Real Madrid.

“If it is on faith, I have already said that 99.9 per cent of the time, Mbappe will play for Real Madrid. Because of the information and because of the indications of everything that is happening and what continues to happen,” he maintained.

“Because of the circumstances that exist with the regulation of economic control and the Financial Fair Play, no Premier League club is going to go for him and the only club left in the world is Real Madrid. So Mbappe will play for Real Madrid next year,” he added.

On another matter, he stated that Real Madrid have long wanted to remove him from the presidency “by civil, criminal or administrative means” after learning that the Superior Sports Council has submitted a complaint against him to the TAD for alleged discriminatory treatment in the framework of the agreement reached with CVC.

“It’s a complaint they filed a year and a half ago. I’m surprised that they are raising it because the SSD already said that it was not firm and, moreover, it was corrected in a subsequent assembly (…) I’m not worried but, well, Madrid have wanted to remove me from the presidency by civil, criminal or administrative means for a long time”, he concluded.
