Man City star Erling Haaland surprised the boys with a visit to childhood club in his hometown

The local superstar showed up for am unannounced visit with his hometown club Bryne FK. Haaland surprised the local kids in Bryne when he showed up for their training session and was immediately mobbed by the youngsters for whom he is a hero.

Erling Haaland was invited by the club to attend an official opening of Jærhallen – an indoor training facility at Bryne stadium. The newly-renovated Jærhallen was a place where Haaland himself spent a lot of time growing up, training football at all times of the day.

Haaland also received the club’s badge of honour during the ceremony. The visit ended with Erling officially opening the facility with a penalty on one of the local kids – he tucked the ball home, of course saying, “Sorry – I had to score!”

Additionally, Bryne FK declared that Haaland had donated training gear and equipment to the hundreds of young football players in the city of Bryne.

The visit gave Erling the chance to catch up with a number of his old club friends. He shook hands and hugged the kids before signing autographs and taking pictures. An amazing chance for every young person working with Bryne in a place where No. 9 is a living legend and a testament to what can be achieved through determination.
