Man City duo Jack Grealish and Phil Foden participated in a England photoshoot for the new jersey

Gareth Southgate’s side will debut the suave new kits in international friendlies against Brazil and Belgium at Wembley this month, starting with the Samba Stars on Saturday.

Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses will wear the strip when they host Sweden at Wembley in the Nations League on April 5 as they take the first step to defending their European Championship crown, with the women’s version set to go on sale in June.

The home jersey is a modern take on the classic England design — the trim on the cuffs takes inspiration from training kits worn by Three Lions legends of the past.

Reds and blues are mixed into purple — and the same colours feature in a new interpretation of the flag of St George on the back of the collar.

The away kit is a bold new design which will see the men’s and women’s teams line up in purple.

A graphic side panel features seven different colours with a clear nod towards English fashion and gives the flag of St George on the collar an eye-catching look.

All the kits are tailored to provide mobility, breathability and venting to help Three Lions stars perform at their peak in the summer months.
