The thieves who broke into Kevin De Bruyne’s home in Belgium on Saturday reportedly did a lot of damage.
The Manchester City star, his wife Michele, and their three kids were not at home when the police came.
The Belgian news network HLN said that things had been taken, but they did not give any other information. The thieves in Bolderberg, Heusden-Zolder, used a stepladder to get to the first floor of the house.
De Bruyne, who is 32 years old, bought the 70-acre land in 2015 and built a villa out of natural white stone. The house was finished in February 2019.
There is a basketball court, a swimming pool, and a jacuzzi at the house.

HLN said the De Bruyne family only uses the property sporadically when they visit Belgium, spending most of their time in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
The midfielder missed Saturday’s match with a hamstring injury but watched on from the stands at the Etihad Stadium.
But he was part of Pep Guardiola’s 23-man squad that departed for the Middle East for the Club World Cup on Saturday night.
City play the Japanese side Urawa Reds in their semi-final on Tuesday, and it remains to be seen whether he is fit enough to play any part.
De Bruyne played in the FA Community Shield against Arsenal at the beginning of the season before being forced off in City’s Premier League opener against Burnley.
De Bruyne had surgery to fix the problem with his hamstring, and he is only now getting close to being able to play again.
