Star Brazilian winger Neymar wants to return to Barcelona, as reported by Bar Canaletes.
According to the source, the Brazilian footballer is in close contact with Barcelona’s president, Joan Laporta. Neymar has a desire to rejoin Barcelona once his time in Saudi Arabia comes to an end. He has already communicated his desire to Laporta.
The contract of the 32-year-old player, who is recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered in September, expires in the summer of 2025.
Earlier reports suggested that Neymar could return to his hometown club – Brazilian Santos.
Neymar played for Barcelona from 2013 to 2017 before moving to PSG for 222 million euros. During his time with the Blaugrana, the winger scored 105 goals in 186 matches. He won several trophies with the club, including the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and others.
