Haaland’s call to action is clear It’s time for football rules to evolve. Players like him are driving the game forward, pushing for progress.

Man City striker Erling Haaland wants to change football rules surrounding throw-ins. The 23-year-old Norwegian star finds the current regulations ‘annoying’. Erling Haaland is upset with throw-ins and would change the throw-in rules if he was allowed.

Erling Haaland believes that the current regulations are too restrictive and that players can throw the ball however they want, as long as they have two hands holding the ball. However, the Man City star believes there should be restrictions on the distance a player can throw the ball.

Haaland scored 71 goals in 76 appearances for Man City and won the treble with the club last season. That doesn’t mean Haaland hasn’t encountered disappointments along the way. During the Man City Podcast, Haaland was asked which aspect of football rules he would like to change.

Erling Haaland said: “What bothers me is the throw-ins. If you throw like this or whatever it doesn’t matter, just hold the ball with both hands and throw the ball. I don’t even know the rules, but if you throw it down or up it doesn’t matter!

I would change that, just hold the ball with two hands. We’ll see what happens in the future but you need a certain time limit to take the throw-in and you can’t take the throw-in too many meters away, just give a point and You can just throw it there.”

After more than 8 weeks of injury, Erling Haaland played his first Premier League match in Man City’s 3-1 victory over Brentford. Haaland has not scored since recovering from his leg injury, but he had an assist contributing to Man City’s victory.

Recently, there has been a lot of information that Erling Haaland will leave Man City to join Real Madrid. Coach Pep Guardiola hopes that his favorite Norwegian striker can stay at the Etihad Stadium team for a long time.

Man City coach Pep Guardiola said: “We want Erling Haaland to stay for a long time. We love him. That is always the wish of the player and the club. Haaland arrived at Man City last season. Erling Haaland’s impact was incredible at the start of this season, then he was injured two months ago.

What will happen in the future, I honestly don’t know. We are very happy to have Erling Haaland. Hope he is happy with us. You have to ignore it (media rumors). If someone wants Erling Haaland, it’s easy – call, call and ask. That’s what we do to sign someone. It’s not complicated.”

Man City is currently ranked second on the Premier League rankings with 49 points, 2 points behind top team Liverpool but Pep Guardiola’s team has played 1 match less. If they win against Everton in the earliest match of round 24 of the Premier League this weekend at Etihad’s home field, Man City will take the top spot in the table from Liverpool.
