Haaland Nearing a Staggering £1 Billion Earnings Without Stepping on the Field

Rafaela Pimenta – the representative of the Man City star, announced that her client can earn income outside of the normal contract.

Haaland, 23 years old, is estimated to pocket a huge amount of £865,000 per week at Man City. This amount is made up of his weekly salary, as well as the significant bonuses he earns through scoring achievements and titles.

However, Pimenta believes that this is just the beginning of Haaland’s potential income. She affirmed that Haaland could become the first football player to earn 1 billion pounds through image rights.

Pimenta told The Guardian: “I’m not saying the transfer fee will reach that level. I’m talking about all the money you generate throughout your career. Today you can play until you’re 35 years old. You have to think about salaries, transfer fees, broadcasting income, sponsorship money, ticket sales, shirt sales. For a player like Erling, that number reaches billions of pounds.

Revenue in the video game industry is huge. In the metaverse, I could sell a digital Erling Haaland for 2,000 euros (£1,741) to 100 million people in India, China, Brazil, Mexico. Perhaps one day, we will have a moment where we experience a glass football game, which will evoke the same emotions as I was there.

You really enjoy 3D experience with virtual experience. So maybe we will sell the football experience, not just to broadcasters but also to individuals who cannot afford or cannot buy tickets to the Bernabeu or the Etihad. They can experience the match (in the metaverse) as if they were on the field. So when I say the number 1 billion, I’m using multipliers beyond what’s happening on the ground.”
