Claudio Echeverri’s $5 million house at ManCity that even Haaland doesn’t own

Officially announced the acquisition of Claudio Echeverri, an 18-year-old Argentine midfielder

Manchester City, reigning Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup champions, officially announced the acquisition of Claudio Echeverri, an 18-year-old Argentine midfielder, for a fee in excess of US$15 million. The deal, worth 12.5 million pounds, was formalized on Thursday, cementing the young player’s arrival from River Plate.

Echeverri, who made his debut for River Plate in June 2023, has made six appearances for the Buenos Aires first team. Despite signing his contract with the ‘Sky Blues’ until June 2028, he is expected to remain at River Plate until January next year, marking his transition to Manchester City in 2025.

The Argentine midfielder, already with 23 appearances representing Argentina’s U-17 national team, will follow a similar schedule to that of Julian Alvarez, who signed with City in January 2022 but joined Pep Guardiola’s side until July of the same year.

Echeverri’s possible house

Taking advantage of the fact that they are compatriots, Sergio Aguero could lend or rent his penthouse that he has in Manchester and that for now he does not occupy because he is living in Buenos Aires. It is valued at about five million and is located in the best area of the city a few steps from the Etihad Stadium, something that even Erling Haaland does not have.
