MISSING LIMERICK MUM-OF-FOUR CARRIE MULLANE: CHILLING NEW TIMELINE, MYSTERY CAMPERVAN AND BOAT AS MAN IS CHARGED WITH HER MURDER

A desperate search for a missing mother of four has taken a devastating turn after police revealed a new timeline surrounding her disappearance, released images of a campervan and boat they believe could hold vital clues, and confirmed that a man has been charged with her murder.

Carrie Mullane, also known as Carrie Noonan, 39, from Limerick, Ireland, has not been seen since travelling to Enniskillen in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, on October 10, 2026.

What initially began as a missing-person investigation has since developed into a suspected murder inquiry led by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).

Investigators believe Carrie may have come to serious harm shortly after arriving in Northern Ireland.

Her family has been left desperately searching for answers, while detectives continue trying to establish exactly what happened during the hours after her last confirmed sighting.

Carrie travelled from Limerick to Enniskillen on Saturday, October 10, accompanied by a man known to her.

According to police, she arrived at the bus station on Wellington Road before taking a taxi with her companion to an address in the Trasna Park area at approximately 9pm.

That taxi journey represents the last confirmed sighting of Carrie.

From that moment onwards, detectives have been unable to establish her movements.

There were suggestions that she might have travelled towards the Derry area on October 11, but police said they had been unable to find evidence confirming this possibility.

Carrie’s disappearance was reported to the PSNI on October 29 after concerns were raised by An Garda Síochána.

Her family and friends explained that it was extremely unusual for her to go without contacting them, as she would normally be in touch almost every day.

Police classified her as a high-risk missing person and began extensive enquiries.

On November 6, detectives released photographs of a blue-and-white campervan and a boat they believe may be connected to Carrie’s disappearance.

The vehicles became a major focus of the investigation as officers attempted to reconstruct what happened between October 10 and November 1.

Police specifically want to establish where the campervan and boat travelled during that period, particularly around Enniskillen and Carrybridge.

The campervan pictured by investigators appeared to be missing a wheel, with the vehicle resting on a wooden support.

The boat was also photographed on a trailer.

Authorities have asked residents, motorists and anyone travelling through the area to check whether they captured either vehicle on CCTV, dashcam footage or doorbell cameras.

Boat owners on Upper Lough Erne have also been urged to come forward if they remember seeing the vessel on the water.

Detectives believe even a seemingly insignificant observation could help establish a clearer picture of Carrie’s final known movements.

THE BOAT RECOVERED FROM THE RIVER ERNE

In another significant development, the boat investigators were asking about was recovered from the River Erne on Friday, November 6.

It was found near Tullyinishmore Jetty, between Enniskillen and Carrybridge.

Police confirmed that it was the same vessel featured in their public appeal.

However, Carrie was not found in either the boat or the campervan.

Detectives have continued examining the circumstances surrounding both vehicles and are seeking information from anyone who may have seen them during the relevant period.

The recovery of the boat has added another important element to an investigation that remains ongoing.

A MAN, 35, CHARGED WITH CARRIE’S MURDER

On Friday, November 6, the investigation reached another major turning point.

A 35-year-old man was charged with the murder of Carrie Mullane.

He was also charged with preventing the lawful burial of a corpse.

The charges followed his arrest earlier in the week as part of the investigation.

He is due to appear before Dungannon Magistrates’ Court by video link on Saturday, November 7.

The charges will be subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service, in accordance with normal legal procedures.

Police have not confirmed that Carrie’s remains have been located, and her whereabouts remain unknown.

Detectives have also not ruled out further lines of enquiry as they continue investigating the circumstances of her disappearance.

HER FAMILY’S HEARTBREAKING PLEA

Throughout the investigation, police have emphasised that Carrie is much more than the subject of a missing-person investigation.

Detective Superintendent Richard Thornton described her as a much-loved mother, sister and friend who is deeply missed by everyone who knows her.

Her family has been enduring an agonising wait for information about what happened.

Carrie’s sister, Sandra Noonan, previously shared an emotional message on social media, expressing her determination to bring her sister home.

Her words reflected the desperation felt by relatives who are still waiting for answers.

Family liaison officers have also been sent to Limerick to support Carrie’s loved ones and keep them informed about the investigation.

POLICE APPEAL FOR ANYONE WITH INFORMATION

Detectives are continuing to appeal for information from anyone who may have seen Carrie after her arrival in Enniskillen.

They are particularly interested in sightings of the blue-and-white campervan and the boat between the late hours of October 10 and November 1.

Anyone with relevant CCTV, mobile phone recordings, doorbell footage or dashcam material is urged to contact the PSNI.

Information can be provided by calling 101 and quoting reference number 272 of October 29, 2026.

Footage can also be submitted through the Major Incident Public Portal at mipp.police.uk.

Anyone wishing to provide information anonymously can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police have urged the public not to speculate about the circumstances online while the investigation continues.

A FAMILY STILL WAITING FOR ANSWERS

More than three weeks after Carrie was last seen, the search for the mother of four continues.

The new timeline, the recovery of the boat and the murder charge have brought significant developments, but one central question remains unanswered: where is Carrie?

For her children, relatives and friends, the uncertainty is an unimaginable burden.

Police have pledged to continue their investigation and are urging anyone with even the smallest piece of information to come forward.

Behind the headlines is a family desperately hoping for answers and a mother whose loved ones want to bring her home.

Carrie Mullane remains missing. Her family is still waiting.
