🚨 Breaking: Learjet 60 Broke Apart in Midair Before diᩚadℓy Florida 𝔠r𝘢sh — NTSB Finds ᑕriᩚtiᩚcal Wreckage 3.8 Miles Away as Mystery Deepens

The private jet had not yet struck the ground. But a crucial part of its tail had already broken away. Now, investigators have recovered pieces of the aircraft nearly four miles from the 𝔠r𝘢sh site, revealing new evidence about the terrifying final moments of a flight that killed nine people.

GREENACRES, FLORIDA — November 7, 2026. Federal aviation investigators have confirmed a significant discovery in the Learjet 60 disaster that claimed nine lives in South Florida.

The National Transportation Safety Board has recovered three pieces of the aircraft’s left elevator, a ᑕriᩚtiᩚcal flight-control surface, scattered up to 3.8 miles from the impact site.

The location of the debris confirms that parts of the jet separated while it was still airborne.

But investigators face an extraordinary question.

Did the loss of the elevator help cause the aircraft’s catastrophic descent, or did the extreme forces of that descent tear the component away?

The distinction could prove essential to determining what happened.

For now, the cause of the 𝔠r𝘢sh remains unknown.

A Discovery Miles From the Main Wreckage

During a November 3 news conference, NTSB board member Thomas Chapman revealed that investigators had located most of the Learjet’s left elevator.

The wreckage was found in three sections, between approximately 1.3 and 3.8 miles from the 𝔠r𝘢sh site.

The elevator is attached to the aircraft’s horizontal stabilizer and helps control its nose-up and nose-down movements.

Without an intact elevator, an aircraft can lose an essential means of pitch control.

Chapman described the recovered pieces as highly important evidence.

However, he cautioned that investigators had not determined whether the elevator’s separation initiated the emergency or occurred after the aircraft was already descending uncontrollably.

The discovery confirms a partial midair breakup.

It does not establish that the jet suffered a structural failure before losing control.

The Flight That Never Reached the Bahamas

The Learjet 60 departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas on November 1.

It was heading toward North Eleuthera in the Bahamas.

Seven passengers and two pilots were aboard.

Among the passengers were technology entrepreneur Adam Robinson, his wife, their two young children, family friends and a caregiver.

The crew included Captain Jeff Gregory and 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras.

The journey should have ended with a landing in the Bahamas.

Instead, the aircraft encountered a rapidly developing emergency over South Florida.

At approximately 35,000 feet, the crew reported turbulence, precipitation and ice accumulation.

The pilots requested permission to climb to 37,000 feet.

Air traffic controllers approved the request.

But the aircraft soon entered an extraordinary descent.

The Final Radio Calls Reveal a Desperate Emergency

Flight-tracking information indicated that the Learjet descended at an exceptionally high rate.

The crew reported that the aircraft was losing thousands of feet per minute and had entered an overspeed condition.

An emergency call followed.

The flight crew warned controllers that the aircraft was heading toward the ground.

Then came the final reported message:

“We’re out of time.”

Moments later, the Learjet disappeared from radar and radio contact.

At approximately 12:49 p.m., the aircraft crashed near Military Trail
