🟥Count One – June 9: Prosecutors Sharifa Henderson sent Jeff Metcalf a Facebook message threatening to k*ll him and put him in a body bag, then essentially dared him to take her to court.

🟥Count Two – June 10: The indictment says Henderson placed a telephone call to Collin County Government intended for the Metcalf family, during which she threatened to “demolish” the family and “strangle” a family member.

🟥Count Three – June 11: Prosecutors stated another Facebook message told Jeff: “don’t worry I’ll kll you next” and said she would hunt him until she klled him and that he would always have to look over his shoulder.

According to the federal indictment, Sharifa Nicole Henderson sent a Facebook Messenger message in June (around the time the related trial
concluded) to a family member of a crime victim. In it, she allegedly stated she would kill the recipient, put them in a body bag, and added: “now this is a threat take me to court [expletive].”

The next day, another message allegedly sent to Jeff Metcalf stated that she would “demolish” the family and “strangle” a family member.
A third message reportedly included the statements “don’t worry I’ll kill you next” and “I will hunt you forever until I kill you … I will be there. You will always have to look over your [expletive] shoulder.”

A grand jury returned a three-count indictment against Henderson. She has already appeared in court and faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 if convicted.

Sharifa Nicole Henderson, 34, was named in a three-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury on September 9, 2026, charging her with making interstate threatening communications.

Henderson was arrested in Kansas City on September 11, 2026, and made an initial appearance in federal court in the Western District of Texas.

According to the indictment, on at least three separate dates in June of 2026, Henderson is alleged to have sent messages through a social media messaging platform and by telephone, threatening to injure or kill members of a crime victim’s family.

If convicted, Henderson faces up to five years in federal prison for each charge.

This case is part of Operation Take Back America a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the Department of Justice to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.

This case is being investigated by FBI Dallas, the Collin County Sheriff’s Office and the Collin County District Attorney’s Office with assistance from FBI Kansas City, the U.S. Attorney’s Office –

Western District of Missouri and the U.S. Marshals Service. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul B. Morris. federal indictment is not evidence of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
