💔 A Family Vacation That Never Began: Tech Millionaire, His Wife and Two Toddlers Among Nine Killed in Horrific Florida Learjet 𝔠r𝘢sh

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA — November 3, 2026

They were supposed to be heading toward sunshine, beautiful beaches and precious family memories.

Instead, a technology entrepreneur, his wife and their two young children became the faces of a devastating aviation tᩚraɢedy that has left families across the country heartbroken.

Adam Robinson, 45, his wife Helen Sharp, 40, and their children Emma, 4, and Charlie, just 2 years old, were among nine people who lost their lives when a private Learjet 60 crashed in South Florida on Sunday, November 1.

The aircraft had departed Austin, Texas, bound for the Bahamas.

But the family never reached its destination.

Their heartbreaking story is now emerging through photographs, family tributes and details from investigators working to understand what went wrong.

A Successful Entrepreneur Who Said He Was Living His Dream

Adam Robinson was a well-known figure in the technology industry.

He founded several marketing and software companies, including Retention.com and RB2B, helping build businesses focused on digital marketing and e-commerce technology.

Yet despite his professional achievements, Robinson had recently spoken about something he valued even more: his family.

In an interview on the ProfitLed podcast, he described the happiness of living in Aspen, Colorado, with his wife and children.

He spoke about being able to spend time with his children in the mornings and evenings, while his wife pursued her artistic passions.

“I feel like I’m living the dream,” Robinson said.

Those words have taken on heartbreaking significance following Sunday’s disaster.

Robinson had built the life he wanted.

Then, in a matter of minutes, everything changed.

A Mother, an Artist and Two Little Children

Helen Sharp had established her own successful career.

She previously operated a public relations business before devoting more of her time to ceramics and creative work.

Friends and relatives remembered Helen and Adam as loving, devoted parents whose children were the center of their world.

Their daughter, Emma, was only 4 years old.

Their son, Charlie, was just 2.

Family photographs shared after the tᩚraɢedy show the couple smiling with their two children, capturing the ordinary moments of happiness that their relatives will now cherish.

In a joint statement, family members described Emma and Charlie as “the light of their lives.”

For those who knew the family, the loss is almost impossible to comprehend.

Two children who had barely begun their lives were suddenly gone alongside the parents who adored them.

The Beloved Nanny Who Was Part of the Family

The tᩚraɢedy also claimed the life of Anita Maria Cetina, who helped care for Emma and Charlie.

She was more than someone who looked after the children.

According to the family’s statement, Anita cared for them with extraordinary love and devotion.

Relatives described her as an important part of the family’s everyday life.

The family said she had shown unconditional love to the children.

Two family friends, Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr, also lost their lives aboard the aircraft.

Relatives remembered them as joyful, adventurous people whose friendships had brought happiness to others.

What was supposed to be a shared trip became a devastating loss for multiple families.

Two Pilots Also Lost Their Lives

The aircraft was operated by Captain Jeff Gregory, 55, and co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20.

Gregory, from Pennsylvania, was remembered as an experienced aviation professional, devoted husband and father of three.

Filgueiras had followed her aviation dreams from an early age.

She earned her pilot’s license at 17 while attending high school in Florida.

By age 20, she was qualified to serve as a co-pilot aboard a Learjet.

For both pilots, Sunday’s journey would be their final flight.

Terrifying Final Moments Before the 𝔠r𝘢sh

The Learjet departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Sunday morning, heading toward North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas.

While traveling at approximately 35,000 feet, the flight crew reported ice accumulation and turbulence.

Air traffic control recordings indicate that the pilots requested permission to climb higher.

But the situation deteriorated rapidly.

The aircraft began descending at an extraordinary speed.

The crew declared an emergency as they struggled to regain control.

“We’re going to 𝔠r𝘢sh into the ground,” a pilot reported during the final radio communications.

Moments later, the aircraft struck the ground near a residential area in Palm Beach County and erupted in flames.

All nine people aboard were lost.

Investigators Find Evidence of Possible Midair Breakup

The National Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation into the disaster.

Investigators said preliminary evidence suggests that parts of the aircraft may have separated before it struck the ground.

Wreckage was scattered across a large area, complicating the recovery effort.

The impact also created a significant crater that later filled with water.

Officials are examining weather conditions, aircraft systems, maintenance history and the crew’s final communications.

Although icing and turbulence were reported before the 𝔠r𝘢sh, investigators have not determined the cause.

Authorities cautioned against drawing conclusions
