WARNING – DISTRESSING CONTENT: Children living in horrific conditions in a house in Ohio are ‘unlikely’ all to be kept together.

A forensic interviewer claimed that the 16 children from the now infamous Ohio “house of horrors” has said that it is “unlikely” that all of the kids will be placed into homes together.
Expert Denise Rodriguez Bowman previously worked on a similar case in California involving the Turpin family. She interviewed the 13 Turpin children after authorities arrested the parents in 2018 on felony charges of torturing and imprisoning their children. The Ohio case involves the Siders family, and four adults have been arrested on charges of child endangerment in connection with the case.
Speaking about the 16 kids who were recently rescued from horrific conditions in Hamden, Ohio, Bowman said, “The children have likely been placed in foster care”, though she added it is “unlikely child welfare officials would be able to house all of them together”.
She added, “Visits would likely be arranged among siblings living separately if professionals overseeing the case determine it is in the family’s best interest.”
When it comes to interviewing children who have come from such traumatic situations, Bowman explained that it requires a great deal of patience from officials.
“It is a lot of patience on an interviewer’s part. They generally can be long interviews, and we’re kind of moving it along based on the kid’s ability to be in that room and how long they can be in that room,” she said.

Bowman made the comments while speaking to Ashleigh Banfield on the “Drop Dead Serious” podcast.
Christina Siders, 67, Gary Siders Sr., 73, her son, Gary Siders Jr., 36, and Elizabeth Siders, 33, are all in custody and awaiting trial over the Ohio case, which has been the subject of national news.

The children were found living in squalid conditions on June 30, after police executed a search warrant on the property for an unrelated matter.
Upon entering the property, investigators said they soon realized that some of the children couldn’t speak, while the oldest, 18, couldn’t write her own name.
Attorney General Andy Wilson told reporters, “I mean, it looked like almost feral animals. It was terrible.”
“What we saw down here today is pure evil. Most of our livestock was kept in better conditions than the children. It was just a disgusting scene,” he added. Meanwhile, the mom-of-16’s creepy Facebook post on her husband’s page emerged.
