While they booed Messi and Neymar, what PSG Ultras did with Mbappé after he announced that he’s leaving the club

Kylian Mbappé announced that he is leaving PSG and the ultras of the club reacted.

Lionel Messi and Neymar were not treated kindly when they left PSG last summer, but now, many wonder how the PSG Ultras would react to the announcement of Kylian Mbappé leaving the club. Mbappé found out in person as he and his brother Ethan Mbappé went to the Parc des Princes and spoke with the Ultras face to face. Mbappé had a microphone in his hand and told them, “I would like to say thank you and good luck. Who knows, maybe we’ll see each other again one day… But in any case, thank you very much.”

Mbappé continued to show his appreciation to the hardcore fans of PSG who watched him grow these past seven years at the club. Mbappé said, “I wanted to thank you. It’s not over yet because there’s still a final. It was important to thank you for everything you have done for me and my family. It was important for me to come back here to Paris. To grow as a player and also as a man.”

Apart from gathering the PSG Ultras at the Parc des Princes to talk to them about his decision, Mbappé organized a barbeque with the group of fans as his farewell game will be tomorrow in the Ligue 1 match against Toulouse. The French star signed and took photos with all the fans that were present for the barbeque. French sources like RMC Sport suggest that PSG is mainly just concentrating on celebrating its 12th Ligue 1 title on Sunday. The PSG Ultras will pay tribute to Mbappé with a tifo and chants at the game against Toulouse tomorrow, but the club has nothing specifically planned for Mbappé’s farewell.

Kylian Mbappé doesn’t thank PSG Chairman Nasser Al Khelaifi

Kylian Mbappé shocked the football community when he finally revealed that he would leave PSG at the end of this season. Mbappé posted a video yesterday of him saying farewell to the club after spending almost seven years. During the video, he thanked lots of people at the club, like his former coaches, staff, and members of the club, but he did not mention the PSG Chairman, Nasser Al Khelaifi. Many assume that the relationship is broken between the two due to Mbappé’s decision to leave the club for free this summer. Mbappé said, “I want to thank all the coaches I had here (mentions all PSG coaches he had), Leonardo and Luis Campos, and to those nobody sees. The physios, performance team… Everybody.”
