The reason why Neymar Jr. is not able to debut with Al-Hilal

Neymar hasn’t been able to make his debut yet and he won’t do it in the next game.

Neymar’s arrival has been crazy in the Arab country, more than 40.000 Al-Hilal supporters welcomed him in their stadium and more than 10.000 shirts were sold in a single day. The brazilian’s welcome was spectacular and the mosaic of his face that the team made in their last game was amazing. Neymar couldn’t play that match, but he was at the stands watching it.

The signing of Neymar has been the highest in Arab soccer, they paid PSG 80 million euros to keep him, so they are exited to see the 31 years old player make his debut, but he’s not ready to play yet. Neymar have two injuries, both in the femoral biceps of his right leg, according to ‘Record’.

The Record newspaper adds that next weeek, the player will have a medical test to report his evolution, but it’s sure that he can’t play on monday against Al-Ettifaq, the team that is leaded by Steven Gerrard and have 7 points in the Saudi Pro League, the same as Al-Hilal.

Neymar is not the only player that Al-Hilal signed, they also hired Malcom (60 M€), Ruben Neves (55 M€)  Mitrovic (52,6 M€),  Milinkovic-Savic (40 M€), Koulibaly (23 M€) and the goalkeeper Bonou (21 M€). They made a historic transfer market spending more than 330 M€.

When can Neymar play?

There is not an exactly date for Neymar’s return, but it is estimated that he will not be able to play for a month and he will miss five games in the Saudi Pro League and the matches with the Brazilian National team in September, according to Record.
