Many Real Madrid fans are wondering when they can finally see Kylian Mbappé be announced as a new Real Madrid player. In the past couple of years, the fans have been waiting to see the day when Mbappé gets announced as a new Real Madrid player. While Mbappé played his last game for PSG this past weekend, a presentation or an announcement of him joining Real Madrid was not guaranteed since the player is technically still a PSG player since his contract expires on June 30th. Fabrizio Romano reports that Real Madrid’s final plan to formally complete and announce the Kylian Mbappé deal before the Euros won’t be and can’t be limited by PSG. Despite PSG’s contract expiring in June, Mbappé can be announced before Euro 2024. The player also wished to have his future determined before the international tournament started, as he wanted to be fully focused on the French national team.

Mbappé’s move to Real Madrid will definitely not be announced before the Champions League Final this weekend. The Spanish club and its players are fully focused on the final against Borussia Dortmund, where they have the chance to lift their 15th UCL trophy. After the final, a potential presentation could happen a week before the EUROS 2024 starts. The EUROS starts on June 14th.

Mbappé’s announcement to Real Madrid seems very soon, and it is likely to be when the reports suggest it will be since the player himself said it will be soon. Mbappé spoke with CNN about his future, and when asked when we will know where he will play next, the French star said, “When will my next club be announced? It’s a matter of days. I think it’s going to be official soon, and I just want to enjoy this time without a club. I hope someone can pay me. [laughs].”

PSG President on Kylian Mbappé leaving the club

Many reports in France suggest that the PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, is very angry with Mbappé about leaving the club to join Real Madrid. Instead, he praised the French star and wished him the best as he said, “I wish him the best. He did exceptional things for us for seven years. He was 18 when he arrived, now it’s a big boy, who is the best player in the world I am proud of what he has done for the club and you never know, maybe one day he will return to France. I know his ambitions, he wanted change, go to another Championship to live new experiences and he has the right to do so.”
