Rashford’s potential is too big for Man Utd’s current situation. It might be time for him to explore new opportunities and reach his full potential elsewhere.

On Mail Sport’s ‘It’s All Kicking Off’ podcast, former footballer Chris Sutton gives advice to Marcus Rashford.
Marcus Rashford is going through a difficult season, scoring only 2 goals in 20 appearances for Manchester United. Remember, Rashford scored 30 goals in 56 matches last season.

Rashford’s form was discussed by Chris Sutton and co-host Ian Ladyman in the latest episode of Mail Sport’s ‘It’s All Kicking Off’ podcast. With Sutton, the former Premier League player believes it is time for Rashford to leave Man Utd:

“Rashford looks miserable at the moment. I think Rashford needs to leave Man Utd and head for a new challenge. This was an issue debated a few seasons ago when Rashford seemed lost, but He keeps going around this story.”

“There are question marks about the way he contributes to the team and those are valid questions and criticisms. Rashford is not working hard enough, in my opinion.”

“I feel like he needs to find a new challenge.”

Rashford was rewarded with a new 5-year contract. He currently receives a basic salary of 300,000 pounds/week. In the latest training session, the player born in 1997 was absent with Anthony Martial.
