Preparations at Santiago Bernabeu begin ahead of Mbappe’s presentation

The moment Real Madrid fans have been waiting for patiently over the years is finally here. Kylian Mbappe, the club’s long-term target, finally signed for the club earlier this year and will be officially presented as a new player of the club early next week.

The administration has announced that the player’s presentation will take place on July 16th in what will be a mega event at the Santiago Bernabeu. After all, he is the first new signing to be presented at the stadium since its renovation.

Preparations underway

As revealed in a recent update by Madrid1902 via YouTube, the preparations at Nuevo Santiago Bernabeu for the French phenom’s presentation are underway.

The preparations have begun over 48 hours prior to its commencement, and understandably so considering the scale of the event and the surprises planned.

As revealed earlier this week, Florentino Perez and Co. are on a mission to make Mbappe’s arrival one of Real Madrid’s most memorable presentations ever.

The event will be conducted under closed doors with special effects around the ground via the video scoreboards. A stage will be set up on the field where the player will join the club president after the formalities are concluded.

To up the ante, Los Blancos are even expected to include fire effects and lights to amplify Mbappe’s entry onto the field for the first time as a Real Madrid player.

Stadium sold out

Real Madrid released the tickets for the special event scheduled for Tuesday only earlier this week. To say they sold like hotcakes would be an understatement.

In under 2 hours, the tickets available for the event were sold out, including the higher-priced VIP seats. Needless to say, priority was given to club members and season ticket holders.

With Mbappe’s shirt sales already clocking astronomical numbers, the event on Tuesday is set to be one of a kind. The 80,000 fans in the house will only amp up the already buzzing atmosphere.
