Neymar’s Mansion: An Astonishing Fortune Forgiven in Brazil

The Brazilian forward had received a large fine that has just been forgiven by justice.

Neymar receives good news from the Brazilian justice system

This year, Neymar added new controversy to his career after receiving a fine for violating environmental regulations. The current Al-Hilal player has a large mansion in Rio de Janeiro, which he acquired in 2016. The value of the property was 9 million dollars. But the city council fined him more than a third of that amount. The house where Neymar usually enjoys moments of leisure and massive parties has an artificial lake, which is what led to the sanction from the authorities.

In addition to the lake, the mansion has a helipad, tennis court, soccer field, karting track, and a dock on the beach that also caused problems for having used it improperly. Among the amenities can be found six suite-style bedrooms, several bathrooms, a sauna, a spa, a massage room and a gym. As if that were not enough, in 2021 local media reported that the footballer built an underground nightclub to take his parties to a superlative level.

For not respecting environmental regulations, the Brazilian star was fined 16 million reais, which is equivalent to a little more than 3 million dollars. In the large gardens that the property boasts, Neymar created an artificial lake, diverting the course of some rivers, something that is totally prohibited. In addition, he carried out unauthorized excavations, irregular movement of earth and rocks. He also used sand from a beach near the house.

When the environmental authorities of the state of Rio de Janeiro went to the site, they stopped the works, in addition to prohibiting the use of the lake. However, Ney did not care much and returned to holding parties at the mansion, while he was recovering from an injury he suffered while still playing for PSG. There people re-entered the reflecting pool, incurring another infraction.

Justice’s forgiveness of Neymar

The EFE Agency has just revealed that the Brazilian justice system forgave Neymar the fine that had been imposed by the Rio de Janeiro city council. That is, in this way the footballer saves himself from paying more than 3 million dollars, although for his salary of more than 100 million annually it would not have been such an important figure.
