PSG is trying to convince Mbappé to sign a new contract with a release clause of €250 million (£213 million) to ensure they don’t lose him for free. Real Madrid is unwilling to pay more than €175 million (£149 million) for Mbappé. Sheikh Jassim is expected to provide a significant transfer budget for Manchester United, and there are rumors of his interest in making Mbappé their marquee signing.
