Man Utd Embrace Vital ‘Cruel’ Change, Acknowledged by the Glazers Family

According to Mirror, although not yet official, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is said to have agreed with the Glazer family to buy back 25% of Manchester United’s shares. Most recently, during the club’s break from the national team reunion, the British billionaire had a private meeting with the American owners to discuss plans to reform MU.

Accordingly, Ratcliffe wants to bring significant changes in the club structure with the focus being coach Erik ten Hag. But the report said the Dutch coach will be retained instead of being fired as rumored after MU’s poor start at the beginning of the season.

Ten Hag is safe, but his student’s future will not be completely guaranteed. Accordingly, Sir Jim Ratcliffe planned to “cruelly” purge MU’s player force in the January transfer window.

Players that he considers no longer valuable, such as Jadon Sancho, Anthony Martial or even Ten Hag’s favorite player, Antony, will all be sold. The money collected will be reinvested in another contract to bring a new breeze to MU in the later stages of the season. Notably, the Glazer family agreed to let Sir Jim Ratcliffe have full control over this issue after he officially became a shareholder.

Besides human issues, Sir Jim Ratcliffe plans to focus on upgrading facilities at the club. The immediate plan is to pour 245 million pounds to restore Old Trafford before thinking about expanding the stadium’s capacity in the future.
