Kylian Mbappe’s talent shines, reaching new heights alongside the legends Ronaldo and Messi after Deschamps’ high praise.

Striker Kylian Mbappe is considered one of the outstanding players and is expected to inherit the generation of talent that Ronaldo and Messi have created. The starting point of the striker born in 1998 is even more impressive when he became the 2018 World Cup champion at the age of 20 and carried the French team at the 2022 World Cup.

Explaining Mbappe’s importance at Les Bleus and why this player occupies a similar position to Golden Ball winners Messi and Ronaldo, coach Deschamps told Le Parisien:

“Is the French team stronger with Kylian Mbappe? Yes, just like Argentina is stronger with Messi and Portugal is stronger with Ronaldo. These extraordinary players make the team sublime. Football has survived for such a long time. Not only that, Kylian also contributes to team play and his teammates cannot compete without him.”

Even though Mbappe only ranked third in the 2023 Golden Ball voting, he lost to the person who defeated him in the 2022 World Cup final, Lionel Messi. But with his great potential, it is only a matter of time before France’s golden boy wins the Golden Ball title.

Mbappe has scored 46 goals in 75 appearances for France, ranking 3rd on the list of Les Bleus’ greatest strikers, this number is only 10 goals less than Olivier Giroud. Besides, 5 years at PSG also witnessed the clear contributions of the player born in 1998 when dominating Ligue 1. Although he has not yet won the Champions League, Mbappe still has a lot of road ahead to reach.
