Kylian Mbappe’s Jaw-Dropping Salary Sets New Record.

It was a stuff made out of dreams as France’s biggest star and the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe made his much awaited move to Real Madrid. The news took football fans all across the world by storm just days after the Los Blancos clinched their historic 15th Champions League title after defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-0. Mbappe’s introduction in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium also drew parallels with Cristiano Ronaldo’s first appearance in Madrid.

As Mbappe wears the iconic Los Blancos white, the world waits in anticipation to see him in action for the first time in La Liga. As per ESPN, the talismanic French footballer will reportedly earn around 15 million euros per year which amounts to 160.8 crore rupees per year. If we breakdown Mbappe’s pay further, he will earn 13.4 crores per month or roughly 3 crore rupees per week.

How Do Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s Salary Fare As Compared To Mbappe?

Football is a global sport and cricket is constantly taking giant strides to become one. Mbappe’s Real Madrid salary is way ahead than what Indian greats such as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma might be earning in the Indian Premier League (IPL). It is estimated that Kohli might be earning INR 17 crore per season and Rohit Sharma might be earning INR 16 crores per season.

But not to forget that IPL last for 2 months but premier football clubs such as Real Madrid participate in various competitions all across the year and hence the paygrade of their players always ends up on the higher side.
