Paris Saint Germain lost on their visit to face AC Milan. Despite starting out winning, goals from Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud ended up stopping the Parisian dream. The group of death is getting tighter and tighter, since no one is guaranteed their classification.
The team led by Kylian Mbappé is in second position with 6 points, with Borussia Dortmund leading with 7 points. While AC Milan continues with 5 points and Newcastle was in the ‘basement’ with 4 points. Leaving the tie open for any of the 4 teams.
Now, Kyllian Mbappé has received terrible news. Until today, Paris Saint-Germain fans unconditionally supported the Frenchman, now, a large percentage of fans on social networks have blamed Mbappé for today’s defeat. With comments like “Mbappe always hides in difficult moments”, criticism poured in against the player.
Mbappé explained their defeat:
“We are disappointed, we tried to put all the ingredients on our side to win, but it didn’t happen. “We tried to score the second goal, but they scored before us and then we tried to react afterwards, but it was too late.”
