In fact, there are very few clubs that have joined the proposal and those that have confirmed interest are Real Madrid, Barcelona and Napoli, those that are still standing, but in reality with so little support, the tournament seems impossible to take place.
Likewise, many competitions such as the Premier League, Bundesliga, LaLiga and Ligue 1, issued their statement rejecting the competition not endorsed by FIFA and UEFA, which would be the weight for this tournament not to take place, as it would end up forcing the clubs not to participate. or in the worst case scenario, be sanctioned.

Continuing along the same lines, the British Government has discussed that they hope to approve a rule to prohibit English clubs from competitions outside UEFA or FIFA and will prevent teams from deciding to play matches outside of the endorsed entities in the future.
