Talking to France 5, Mr. Emmanuel Macron refused to mention the future of the French striker.
Kylian Mbappe’s future has become a major concern recently, after he refused to activate the extension clause with Paris Saint-Germain. Even President Emmanuel Macron was questioned by the country’s media about this relatively sensitive issue.
Sharing with France 5, he said: “Mbappe is a great player. Do I plan to talk to him about the future? I’m not his representative. First of all I would like to wish him a happy birthday. He is a great sportsman.”
“He has taken on the captaincy of the French national team and he is the driving force behind the team. In 2024 we will participate in the EURO, I hope we will win,” Emmanuel Macron added.
The “love triangle” between Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappe will come to an end next summer or this January. The Royal team has almost lost patience, they want the French striker to quickly make the final decision.
