Erling Haaland has become the youngest and fastest player to reach the milestone of 40 goals in the Champions League, surpassing Kylian Mbappe’s record.

That was Erling Haaland’s 40th goal in just 35 matches. The Norwegian striker became the fastest player to reach the 40-goal mark. He broke Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record with 10 fewer matches.
In addition, Haaland also became the youngest player to reach 40 goals in the Champions League. Haaland broke the previous record set by Kylian Mbappe in 2022.
