Cristiano Ronaldo meets superfan who made his unique portraits with her feet

Iranian artist Fatimah Hamami, who is 85% paralysed, makes hyperrealistic portraits.

Artist Fatimah Hamami has always been a huge Cristiano Ronaldo fan. The Iranian artist, who is 85 per cent paralysed, has earned much acclaim for the exceptional portraits that she makes using her feet.

In recent years, she has made many artworks featuring the Portuguese football legend. Her dream of meeting her favourite player came true on Tuesday. She met Ronaldo at his Al Nassr team’s mission headquarters in Tehran, where the 38-year-old took part in a match between the Saudi Arabian club and Iran’s Persepolis Football Club.

During their meeting before the match, Hamami gave Ronaldo two portraits that she had made of him. In return, the footballer gave her a No.7 Al-Nassr T-shirt that he had signed on.

Hamami shared a video of their wholesome meeting on her Instagram account. She wrote, “My meeting with Cristiano Ronaldo ✌️😊 God, thank you for this dream wish 🙏🏼❤️ Tuesday 28 September”. The video has gathered over 93,000 likes so far.

Last month a similar video went viral. Taken after Al Nassr’s win against Al Fateh in the Saudi Pro League, it showed Ronaldo sharing a heart-warming moment with a visually impaired fan. In their conversation, the fan said, “Actually, I just came for you. I loved you playing and I can’t believe that you scored those three goals”. The footballer replied, “You gave me luck”.

Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in January, becoming the world’s highest-paid athlete in the process. He signed a contract of two and a half years with the Saudi Arabian club, with an option for a third year.
