Chinese boy with blue eyes and cat-like vision

Nong Youhui was born with bright, blue eyes and it concerned his father, Nong Shihua, who took Nong to a hospital in Dahua to have his son’s eyes checked by physicians.

Ling stated, “They told me he would grow out of it and that his eyes would stop glowing and turn black like most Chinese people but they never did.”

As it turns out, Nong’s eyes would emit a blue-green light in the dark when shone upon by a flashlight, “just like cat’s eyes”.

In school, Nong Youhui’s teacher noticed an oddity.  When the children were playing outside in the sun, Nong Youhui would squint moreso than other children and he would complain about having blurry vision when all of the other children would see normally.

One of Nong’s best friends told him that he was able to catch crickets at night without the use of a flashlight.

Scientifically, it is possible that Nong would be able to see at night if he was born with an unusually high concentration of rods in his retinas.  His blue eye color may also be explained by a mild form of ocular albinism.

With growing evidence of children being born with advanced abilities, is Nong an alien hybrid,  a starchild, or just a genetic anomaly?
