LeBron James’ son is a huge admirer of the Brazilian
Titles or awards don’t always define a player’s career. If not just look at Neymar, who only needed his talent to win the hearts of millions around the world.
In fact, the Brazilian has become an idol even for other athletes. Bronny James, the eldest son of LeBron, has recently revealed how much he admires Neymar.
The 19-year-old, who will play for the Los Angeles Lakers alongside his father in the upcoming NBA season, was asked who his biggest inspiration outside of basketball is, and he didn’t hesitate:
“Well, I watched Neymar a lot growing up, so I would say him.”
But that wasn’t all: he also said that the former Santos player would be one of the three people he would like to have dinner with.
Bronny had already shown signs of his admiration for Neymar on other occasions. In 2023, he named the Brazilian when a fan asked him to choose between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
And this year, now with the Lakers, he mentioned the Al Hilal star when asked which other athlete (besides his father) he would like to team up with.
Ney’s influence in the NBA is not new, as his game has also caught the eye of Jimmy Butler, with whom he has forged a great relationship. Will Ney become friends with Bronny too?
