8 Seconds (1994)

Lane Frost grows up with a dream of becoming a rodeo champion. With the support of his mentor and best friend Tuff Hedeman, he rises through the ranks, showcasing his talent and determination in the dangerous sport of bull riding.

He falls in love and marries Kellie Kyle, but their relationship is tested by the pressures of his career. The constant travel, injuries, and the risks of rodeo life create tension between them, challenging their marriage.

Despite personal struggles, Lane achieves his greatest victory by winning the 1987 PRCA World Bull Riding Championship. His success cements his reputation as one of the best in the sport.

Tragedy strikes in 1989 when Lane is fatally injured by a bull after an 8-second ride. His sudden death devastates the rodeo world, but his legacy continues to inspire future generations of bull riders.
