The Brazilian should return to the field this summer with Al-Hilal after his serious injury.
After several months away from the field due to a cruciate ligament injury, Neymar’s return is fast approaching. Recruited last summer by the Saudi club Al-Hilal for a record fee of 90 million euros, the Brazilian star was not able to play much for his new club.
Last October, during a match with Brazil, Neymar unfortunately ruptured his knee ligaments. This injury kept him away from the field for the rest of the season. Despite the absence of its flagship recruit, Al-Hilal still managed to win the Saudi Arabian championship, thus proving the strength of its squad.
Currently undergoing rehabilitation in Brazil, Neymar is working hard to speed up his return. According to information from media AS, relayed by the Saudi newspaper Al Riyadiah, the 30-year-old playmaker has started to resume running, as well as speed and balance exercises.
His goal now is to rejoin the Al-Hilal group for the summer pre-season. He hopes to be able to return to competition in the coming months. His teammates and Saudi supporters are impatiently awaiting the return of their star recruited for more than 300 million euros per year.
