Earlier this week, Kylian Mbappe was able to lead PSG to the Champions League semifinals and has a real shot at securing his first UCL title this season.
This comes against the backdrop of a potential move to Real Madrid this summer, with Mbappe’s current contract at PSG expiring at the end of the season.
However, neither Real Madrid nor PSG have come out with any official statements while in recent days, the forward has been linked with other clubs.
Mbappe will join Real Madrid this summer
Fabrizio Romano, though, has recently clarified that Mbappe is determined to join Real Madrid. And now a French journalist has come up with another crucial update on the Frenchman’s future.
According to Santi Aouna, there is no doubt that Mbappe will join Real Madrid next season. His relationship with PSG is not particularly healthy right now, especially after he broke a promise he had made to the club last summer.

Aouna reveals that Mbappe, last summer, had promised Nasser Al-Khelaifi he would extend his contract, which led to his reinstatement in the group.
However, everything suggests the Frenchman is now going to leave PSG at the end of the season. Aouna adds that Mbappe’s broken promise has been reflected very badly within the PSG board.
Keeping that in mind, Mbappe seems destined to leave Parc des Princes this summer, regardless of PSG’s fate in the UEFA Champions League this season.
Real Madrid are already prepared to snap him up, though the club have yet to finalise the personal agreement with the former AS Monaco starlet.
Mbappe is likely to become one of the highest-paid players at Real Madrid, though he will have to settle for a significant pay cut when compared to his current salary at PSG.
