Inter Miami will soon play against Monterrey in the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
Inter Miami continues its journey in the CONCACAF Champions Cup after it defeated Nashville SC last week and defeated them 5-3 on aggregate. Inter Miami were waiting for their next opponents in the CONCACAF Champions Cup as they advanced to the quarterfinals. Inter Miami and Lionel Messi now know their next opponents will be Monterrey CF from Liga MX in Mexico.
Monterrey defeated Cincinnati FC 2-1 in the second leg of their CONCACAF Champions Cup Round of 16 match. Monterrey won 1-0 in the first leg in Cincinnati, and after their 2-1 win in Mexico, the Mexican side won 3-1 on aggregate. Monterrey is now Inter Miami’s next opponent and Mexican fans are excited to see Lionel Messi play in their country soon.
Both Inter Miami and Monterrey will play each other in the first week of April as the quarterfinal game will be contested in two legs like the Round of 16. For Messi and Inter Miami, things will be slightly different. Inter Miami will play at home first on April 3rd at the Chase Stadium. A week later, on April 10th, the game will be played in Monterrey’s stadium, the Estadio BBVA. Tickets for the game in Miami are potentially already sold out as usual, but for the game in Mexico, the prices are soaring high, and some seats have ridiculous prices
Monterrey luxury box tickets to reach up to $54k to $60k
Local reports in Mexico suggest that exclusive tickets for 12 people are worth around $60,000. Stadibox reports that an official luxury seat box is starting it’s priced of around $54,000 for eight people. The game will be played on April 10th.
