Neymar was recently asked about his dream team in football.
Football has witnessed many icons of the game, and football fans have many different idols. Oftentimes, footballers are asked about their favorite players of all time and are asked to build their dream teams of players they have played with or players in general. Neymar Jr. would be included in these discussions, but now he is asked which players would be included in his dream team. Neymar has played with many legendary players but he also included football legends who he hasn’t played with. Many football fans expect to see Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo among the players he wants for his dream team but the Brazilian impresses fans with his picks.
Neymar has recently been announced to be a part of the Kings League World Cup this summer as his team, FURIA FC, will participate. In a short video with Kings League InfoJobs, he revealed his dream team of 7, which includes six outfield players and one goalkeeper. Neymar picked legendary Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar, who he played with in the 2014 World Cup.
The two defenders he picked are his former teammates Gerard Pique and Thiago Silva. Neymar played a couple of years with Pique at FC Barcelona and played with Silva with the Brazilian national team in the 2014, 2018, and 2022 World Cup.
In the midfield positions, he picked Ronaldinho and Andres Iniesta. He played a couple of games with Ronaldinho with the Brazilian national team and played with Iniesta at FC Barcelona. Up top, the two strikers he picked were Lionel Messi and Ronaldo Nazario. In the video, it made the fans believe that Neymar picked Cristiano Ronaldo, but he quickly said, “Ronaldo, the fat one.” He also picked his former Brazilian coach, Tite, from the national team who coached in the last two World Cups with Brazil.
Al Hilal continues to win without Neymar
Al Hilal broke the record for winning 28 consecutive games. Al Hilal made it 29 games yesterday in the Saudi Pro league as they defeated Damac FC 2-1 at the last minute thanks to a late winner by Michael.
